Final Fantasy – Nintendo Power (Fall 1990) – PTP017

Introducing RPGs like Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy to mainstream Western audiences during the NES era was not as simple as stocking the shelves. Uninitiated power players needed to learn more about this new genre of video gamers. Nintendo did a great job promoting Final Fantasy in multiple volumes, but the massive amount of content, steep difficulty curve, and non-linear nature almost necessitated a full Strategy Guide. Following the success of the Super Mario Bros. 3 and Ninja Gaiden II guides, Nintendo delivers with a comprehensive compendium to show players how to master Final Fantasy. Listen below!
